R2C Group Campaigns Include the #1 Spot and #2 Infomercial for the Second Year in a Row

If you've seen infomercials for the NordicTrack in prime time on A&E, ABC Family, or E; Snuggie blanket spots during an evening slot; or learned about the PedEgg during top viewing hours on CNN, you are witnessing a significant shift in television advertis­ing thanks to the economic downturn. Direct response television ads now appear more and more regularly in prime-time spots.

Direct response agency R2C Group has added Adroit technol­ogy to its collection of services, enabling it to manage clients' online display ad creative and adjust the ads' elements in real time.

KitchenAid turns to DRTV again to promote its iconic stand mixer. However this time, it adds another ingredient to its marketing recipe–social networking.

KitchenAid is returning to direct response television to promote its iconic stand mixer during the holiday season. A Whirlpool brand, KitchenAid has used the medium twice before to advertise the mixer, in a 30-minute infomercial in 2001 and in a two-minute infomercial in 2006.
